1979 Eisentrout
The 1979 Eisentrout is a true gem hand-frafted crafted by the legendary Albert Eisentrout from sunny Oakland, California. It's got it all - a sturdy steel frame, a sleek Campagnolo Record component group, Phil Wood hubs, and a comfy Brooks saddle. George Peterson's the proud owner, and every inch of this bike tells a tale of old-school craftsmanship and epic adventures.
Above the bike holds something pretty special. The Campagnolo 50th Anniversary Component Group, dubbed the "Death Gruppo" was released 1983, the same year the cycling legend Tullio Campagnolo passed. These haven't seen a single spin of the wheel and are packed with history. This is one of the two sets George's father owned, who is the namesake for Pete's Pilsner.
